He is all in! There is no turning back!
That’s the way that Jesus lived out his faith. That’s the way the Apostle Paul lived out his faith. That’s the way I want to live out my faith as well. I want to be “all in” for Christ and his work.
If that’s true of you too, you won’t want to miss our message this week based on Luke 9:51-62. And if you are holding back and not certain about your relationship with Christ, join us and see if you don’t hear the Savior also speaking to you, “Come, follow me!”

Events for Your Calendar
Please add these events to your calendar:
1. Church Picnic – Sunday, August 5 at 10:30 am
Our worship schedule that weekend will include the Saturday 5 pm, Sunday 7:45 am and Wednesday 7 pm services. But the primary focus is our outdoor worship service at 10:30 am under the trees behind the Trinity Café. Dress casual and bring lawn chairs. After the service food and drink will be available for purchase and a number of games will be available for children and adults.
2. Cool Million Golf Outing – Saturday, August 11
Attached is the flyer. Register online here. This is an opportunity not only to support the Cool Million improvements at our school but invite your friends to enjoy some time together and get to know other people at St. Paul’s. Register for the golfing event or just join us for dinner catered by Wegner’s St. Martins Inn.
3. We are Worth a Visit! School Registration – Monday, August 13
Our Christian Elementary School year begins Tuesday, August 21st with registration and back to school nights the week before. Consider Christian education for your child – infant through 8th grade. Invite a neighbor or friend to check us out. Schedule an appointment with our Principal Seth Fitzsimmons to tour the school here. It is not too late to register for this fall!
4. Confirmation Classes begin Wednesday, August 29
For 6th – 8th grade children enrolled in a school other that St. Paul’s, we will again be offering studies that will prepare them for confirmation. The orientation night is August 20. Contact Dr. Joel Nelson at firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure that you receive all the information necessary. Ask your children if they have a friend who might like to join them in this study. A number of youth have confessed their faith in Christ at confirmation whose first connection with St. Paul’s was just such an invitation.
This summer our Awake and Alive summer session in June is being followed up by small group opportunities that include a video teaching lesson and questions. It is a great tool to use in your small group or with your family. The topic is: “I’m Saved! Now What?” led by Pastor Hein of St. Marcus Lutheran Church. Find the tools here!
I am really excited about our fall small group program. You may know the foundation stone of the church. But what would you say is the next stone? See the attached.
Speaking of stones… Pastor Holtz’s latest Malawi Mission Partner communique talks about stones too. It is attached.
God bless your weekend!
