    Dear ministry partner,

Our school family and staff have suffered an incredible loss this week. We learned that Linda Martens, our recently retired 1st Grade Teacher and Extended Learning Coordinator, died unexpectedly on Tuesday morning. She retired last summer to help care for her sister. She continued to serve as a mentor and counselor for many of us over the past year. During this next school year, we had hoped that she would be able to spend a couple of days per month in our school with students and staff. In so many ways, Linda continued to be a part of our St. Paul’s Family. We pray for her family and also all here at St. Paul’s who mourn her passing. Visitation will be Monday, July 8 from 4 to 8 pm at Hack Funeral Home in Beecher, Illinois. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 9 at 10 am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Grant Park, Illinois. Click here for her obituary.

    Grace Wins

This weekend we continue our new message series on Romans 1-8 called “Grace Wins.” Watch the Pastor Kuehl’s first message of the series here. Watch Pastor Strobel’s first message of the series here.

This Sunday we will study Romans 1:18-2:11 (read it by clicking here) and admit that “Without Grace, No One Wins.”
